I've always loved the look of the original H-D springer front fork. To me, that's what a motorcycle is meant to look like!

I actually gathered up the pieces for one, once upon a time, intending to fit it to my shovel. However, before I got it all together, I got a great deal on a wide glide ($15 for everything but the tubes!) and so never assembled the springer. Instead, I sold it to a gal I was dating, who had everything plated chrome and gold, so she could put it on her 45" trike.

Unfortunately, she didn't assemble it, either, before having the plating done. Turned out the back legs were longer than the front, taking up all the spring travel, and leaving her with a rigid front fork.

Oops!

I'm currently lusting after one of the new Heritage Springers. If it turns out I can't keep riding the shovel, I just might wind up with one of these:
