Great Day for a ride!! - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

I just left the N.A. convention in Asheville N.C. I went with my wife and son but my buddies were on the bikes and had just gotten back from a ride in time to catch the " Clean time circle". It was almost seventy degrees today and the convention was held at a holiday Inn with a golf course and all the bells and whistles a hotel can offer. There was alot of good meetings and speakers. I grabbed lunch in the hospitality room and it wasn't bad either.I hated the fact that I've yet to buy another bike but I'll have one by spring if it kills me or my old lady... or should I say if she kills me first. I hope everyone gets a chance to get up here in the mountains for a ride, this place is beautiful. Deals gap. in Ten. is only a short ride away also. get up here and check it out if you have the chance.

Only 38 degrees here but had to get that first ride in anyway.

My brother lived in Weaverville, north of Asheville, for years, and the only time we made it out to see him before he moved was one Christmas, when we got socked in by a blizzard. I could see it was great riding country, but never got to enjoy it.

Now I'm looking forward to the SBU National in NC this summer, and being healed up enough to ride when the time comes!

I dunno ... we get me and him out there on the blactop together we might never stop ...lol Theres this guy that owes me a cup of coffee that we might be able to drag along too.
