I still can't get over how blessed I have been since my accident.My front closet is stuffed with gifts for me and Brian from my CMA chapter and other people.I was able to go out and get gifts for a couple of Angel tree kids.My fridge and cupboards are filled with good food.I've actually had to freeze some of the meals people brought us,and there is always something to offer when hungry folks stop by

It's just amazing what God does when I get out of His way

well, ya started off callin me "bro", that always gets me leary, lol.
i got 2 broke down cars. a dam electrical short i can't find to save my ass in the buick. i'm broke and about to be fired for missing too much work. but i got my son here, and a changed OL, plus some real great friends, here and there. the sporty is looking real good and has a fresh motor, despite a shortage of fancy parts and lack of a welder, so i am pretty grateful. it's more than i had a couple years ago. hope your holidays are at least as good as mine!

Oh, man, did I need some of that help yesyerday! The road seemed to be paved with idjits worth strangling, or shooting, or disemboweling, or...

There were a handful of incidents, but worst of all was the girl who looked right at me and pulled out directly in front of me. After I narrowly avoided hitting her, locking brakes and sliding past her front bumper, she raced to get ahead of me and slam on her brakes! I guess she didn't like the name I called her when she tried to kill me the first time! I chased her for five or six miles before sanity (somewhat) returned, but even then it was still an FTW day.

Today made up for it, though. A brisk but thoroughly pleasant ride to my favorite meeting, a visit with friends afterward, a stop at my favorite bookstore, and a leisurely, albeit breezy ride back to the house. Nobody died, nobody got hurt...
