Been away for a while...

I've been away from the forum for a while. Time to return to the fold and reconnect with people who can combine sobriety and a love of riding motorcycles. Still clean and sober. Recovery intact. Just very busy the last few months with living life on life's terms. Winter has come and gone but the Triumphs and the Harleys are still put away with the batteries on my bench in a never ending rotation on the trickle charger <sigh>. I hope all is well with everyone today.

Bump!

Hi! I'm back again. Still clean and sober. Still riding. Still volunteering as a counselor at the Detox. Getting ready to go back to school...again. Doing a 90 in 90 which finishes on Christmas Eve. I'm finding that trying to do the right things in the rooms and in recovery seems to be causing discomfort for my loved ones and I'm just not finding the proper balance when I thought I should be finding the rewards. Funny how that works, isn't it? My friend once put out a good line in a qualification when he said, "Every time I don't use it's a chance to improve my life..." No guarantee that anyone is going to see it that way but that's just how it goes. Anyway, that's where I'm at today. Thanks!
