Thanks stugotz.... Im just getting back to my topic. Got side tracked. ![]() I suppose they have many bike festivals scattered thru out the states, right? This one that we are going to is our first. Because we r not there for the drinking we r not planning to stay there but for a few days. We will then head to Silver Springs to ride the glass bottom boat. Just really wanting to ride, eat and sleep.

My friend Hillbilly who has 10 years sober, last Saturday headed for the Harley Davidson School in South Flordia. It is a one years long program. They shut down the school for Bike week....he rented a house 5 miles from the beach....very cool for a ten year sober blessing.

Hey, that sounds good. I was thinking of going to that school about twenty years ago when I was first getting sober. But, I was thinking of going to the one in Phoenix. I went to Bike Week in 1991. It was the 50th Anniversary. It was OKAY but it's probably not something I would do again, even if I lived closer. We left Bike Week after a couple days and rode to Key West. Now, THAT was awesome. Incredible! Beautiful! Spectacular view! Wish I could find some of those pics ~ |
