| What a Great Life...
It isn't unusual for me to ride on Halloween. Some years it's been awful cold, and some fairly decent. This year it was around 70 or so.It kinda clouded up like maybe it would rain, but it never did.Saw lots of people out enjoying a ride and I was glad to be one of them.Still some good Fall color. Might even stay nice through the weekend. If it does,I plan to ride with some folks to a benefit dinner for kids about an hour away.If it doesn't,we'll cage it.Gonna help set up and serve. Got my kiddo lined up as a volunteer at the Y in my preschool room.It will give us more time together, and give him something positive to be involved in.He was there for the first time today and he had a blast.Says he can hardly wait to go back. The kids all loved having him there, and so did I Yup...life is good ![]() phoenix |

Went for a nice little putt tonight. After I fixed the bad ground on my left rear turn signal and another broken ground on my horn. Went to the Friday night meeting and it was like a homecomeing. Theres one dude been showing up regularly that I used to do some partying with way back when. He's making real headway. Another kid I worked with was there and he's got 68 days. What was awesome though was another old familiar face. Got almost 7 years now and he got 6 of em behind the walls. And to top it off his 14 year old son picked up a 60 day chip! After the meeting we went to Pizza Hut and grabbed a bite and then i behaved myself almost all teh way home. But the weather was incredible and the scoot was running sweet so when i turned the corner and had 3/4 miles to the driveway I cranked that shovel all the way to the redline through all 5 gears. Snuck a peek at the speedo and think I managed to bump 110. Not too shabby for a 1980' bagger. Yeah fer sure life is grander than I could have ever imagined. |

| This is a great post
Thanks for sharing. I have found that many of the groups here are very supportive. When I pulled up on my MC at the Therapist office the other day I remembered a t-shirt I saw that stated "My bike is my therapist" - This statement is very true - fresh air and going somewhere or nowhere inpaticular. Take care, GoneRiding
