| Cold weather abating somewhat
Hey y'all crazy bikers! I'm to 60 days! I'm driving to Boston next week, and since the weather is better I'm gonna throw the bike on the trailer and perhaps I'll get a chance to ride through some of New England's fine fall foliage I'll be bringing the leathers and the long johns just in case, but it should be a fun time! -Goat |

Congratulations on the 60 days. A milestone indeed. Enjoy your rides through New England, I have heard that the leaves are beautiful. Here in Southern Missouri the leaves are starting to turn also. This is possibly my favorite time of year, too bad it is so short. I will be putting together a Praise Band for CR in the next couple of months. I scored a new amp. My first Marshall........it's a MG250DFX. It has two 12". Reminds me of a Fender Twin Reverb....Its got a great clean sound. good to hear from you Goat......thanks for sharing.

The Biker forum's been kinda quiet lately, thanks for reviving it Goat, and congrats on your 60 days! I lived in Boston from 90-93 although I wasn't riding at the time, I had a tiny Rebel 250 stored away at the time, too drunk most of the time to ride it safely. The fall foliage out there can be stunning if you happen to catch it at the right time, especially in Vermont and New Hampshire. But yeah good to hear you're taking some layers of clothing, it can be pretty frigid. Enjoy, I hope you have more fun than you can stand, cuz that's one of the many benefits of recovery. Toad - Nice score on the Marshall!! It's still over 100 here during the daytime but the mornings and nights are beautifully cool for riding!

Well I finally got back from Boston yesterday... Riding around on my bike in Boston was a BLAST! It's nice to have a quick little vehicle that can scoot around everyone. The traffic sucked on occasion, but on those occasions I was happy to be outside on a bike instead of cooped up in a car. I tried really hard to get a noise citation while I was there. I would have framed it It was kinda fun going into an office during the day too (this was a business trip, visiting one of my customers)... Haven't done that in a long time. I think working from home was probably not good for me when I was drinking. It's harder to put boundaries on your drinking when no one is dictating your schedule. -Goat |
