Hey ya'll...need a few prayers..

hi everyone...

looks pretty slow around here. Just a quick update on me...stupid, stupid, stupid. Good news is I'll be divorced on October 1. Bad news is I didn't get a whole lot. I lost just about everything, I got in a relationship with an alcoholic, and I relapsed after 10 months. I have no job, no vehicle, and am pretty messed up in the head. So a few words of esh?

Hey Baby Bear,

Good to hear from you again. If you're breathing.......you've got a chance. For me I have to put it all in perspective. Yesterday I took part in a PGR mission (funeral and ride) for a 22 year old soldier who had a couple of beer's, and playing around with a pistol, accidentally shot and killed himself. How many times have we all done something stupid while loaded?? Something that could have cost us our lives. Today as I breath deep, I feel gratitude to God and AA for another chance......it's pretty simple.....gratitude will keep us sober.

You breathing??

I'm breathing so far...God takes care of fools and babies, right?

Saw a bunch of booters riding today, wanted to one of them but thank Him I wasn't, right?

Thanks everyone...making plans for detox and a shelter...I somehow a renewed sense of hope even though I don't understand it...don't worry if you don't hear from me for a little bit, my computer is working intermitently and if I can get a bed, I'm sure I won't have computer access for a while. I don't think I have another recovery in me after this. Thanks for the esh..

thanks stone...actually my health is pretty iffy right now being diabetic and drinking..but then again I hadn't learned my lesson. But like Toad says, I AM breathing, and God willing everything I have lost I will be able to regain. I can only do one minute at a time right now, and I am blessed to have all of you to lean on when I am weak..

You will ride again Baby Bear............if you have a desire to ride, and believe in the Scriptures, then you know as a believer, God will give you the desires of your heart. You can take that to the bank sis. I think going into treatment is the best thing to happen to you in many months. I always used treatment as a way to draw closer to God. I find treatment to be very spiritual.

My Pastor and I are going to a Celebrate Recovery seminar next week in Little Rock. John Barker the founder of CR is giving it. We will be starting a CR meeting in my home town. Only one in an 80 mile radius.

I picked up an 11 year AA medallion Saturday night 9-12.........seems like only yesterday when I took my last drink, toke, and shot of dope. My how time fly's when life is good.

If you want..........pm me and I will give you my cell number and anytime you need to talk............I'm here.

Good for you Toad...that is where I'm getting very screwed up...I held onto AA tight for about 8 months then went to Celebrate REcovery...the "state rep" is a member of my church and is about as true as nothing...I'm so confused...but I thank everyone for their support...love ya all..pm'ing you, but I don't know when I can call...freaked up relationship..
