Need Prayers ASAP Please...

My best friend and sponsor is Jeannie...her husband, Mark, was involved in a head-on collision this morning with a '97 Geo. He was not at fault. He is awake and conscious, all we know is that he definitely has a badly broken arm. I spoke with the towing company, and he is beyond blessed to be alive. They have five adult children, who are all there or on the way. He is not sharing the morphine shots they are giving him

Please keep them in your prayers, as we all know the power of prayer, especially recently with Jimmy and Beagle.

Thanks everyone...

I'll keep you posted.

My thoughts are with him.

God be blessed that he wasn't hurt worse.

I,coincidentally, was in a accident a long time ago involving a '97 geo as well. The whole thing fit into the bus stop that was on the corner!!

Thanks everyone...I just got back from the hospital and they are releasing him tomorrow. He has a badly broken paw and a concussion, and a broken nose, but other than that he is in good spirits - the love of his life (Jeannie) is by his side. I'll keep you updated and post pictures if I can figure out how sometime this weekend. For those that don't believe in miracles, you will after you see the pictures of the Geo.

Blessings,

Annie

p.s. - Mark isn't one of "us" - he is one of THOSE people that can have a few beers and quit. I just don't get it - and he is now refusing the morphine. BAD MARK!

Annie, I'm so glad your friend is ok. I'm sure that was a horrible few hours or however long it was until everyone found out he was going to be ok. I imagine it meant so much to Jeannie to have you there. Annie, you have truly blossomed over the past few months or so, I'm so proud of you. Now, get a good night's sleep, I know I don't have to tell you to count your Blessings because you already are.

Hugs,
Judy

Hey Judy, LOL, I really did try to get some sleep. Thank you for the kind words. I really did try to get some sleep, but I guess I'm supposed to get my butt in gear and giddyup down to Grand Blanc. We're under a winter storm warning, so I'm sure that's part of it.

E-mail me at adfaithandhope@gmail.com so I can add you to my Facebook feed.

Blessings,

Annie

This is a little OT but I just thought I would throw it out there for the info.
My Club runs this prayer request web site and I just thought I would pass along the link.

Oh Jazzed... that was just what I needed. thank you for the continued prayers and thoughts, Mark and Jeannie thank you too. I just got back from Grand Blanc. Mark is discharged and in good spirits, jeannie is happy 'cause her baby is out of the hospital, and Auggie the dog is happy because he's with his mommy (he's 18).

My day so far is this...left at about 4 a.m., stopped at the local Meijers to get some stuff I thought they would need, woke them up at the hospital, stopped at the Tim Hortons to thank them and let them know Mark was okay, tried to go to the wrecker yard, went to George and Cathy's (dear friends of theirs that thankfully live close, dropped the dog and the stuff off, went back to the wrecker yard, went back to the hospital, dropped Jeannie off, went to have a come to Jesus meeting with the wrecker owner, in the meantime he called me, I got lost approximately 27 times and went 50 miles out of my way, met the owner of the wrecker company and made a new friend, took pictures of the Geo, went back to the hospital, decided since this huge blizzard was coming in I should leave, got on the highway and saw 7 accidents in about a fifteen mile stretch, thought it was odd that no semis were on the road, the boom truck I was following pulled off at the rest stop, and I slowed it down to about 40. Stopped at Habitat for Humanity to help out another brother in Christ, stopped at the post office, and now I am really going to take a nap. Oh yeah, all this in my husband beater tank top (black, of course) , frayed Michigan State sweatshirt, sweatpants, and slippers. Turns out that fuzzy house slippers aren't waterproof, who knew?

So I'm gonna go to sleep for a little bit. For those who wish, the photos will be posted later on tonight on my Facebook photo page and the Mark has a broken paw thread on facebook. Know that he was hit by an Escalade that sustained NO mentionable damage, and KNOW that it is truly a miracle that he is alive, much less pretty much walking away with a broken paw, a broken snout, and a few bumps and bruises and a concussion. You WILL know when you see the pictures. God is good ALL the time.

Talk to you soon, thank you all from the bottom of my heart.

p.s. I didn't even try to talk him into stealing the morphine pump...I even told jeannie that I REALLY could do it JUST ONCE, and I would be able to quit anytime I wanted without anyone's help
