Hi Bikers and SR. This is a good time in my sober life as I count down the days to February 14th which is Valentine's Day. Which is also the day my fiance' and I will exchange marriage vows followed by an evening getting new tattoos. We are both getting arm tattoos this time. My fiance's is getting a tiger stretched out under his fore- arm and I with a large rose preferably red on my lower arm near by left hand. With a rose bud and butterfly. We have 4 hours saved for that special evening. Today is almost over as i am thanksful for another sober day. We look forward to whatever our HP has in store for us for the rest of the week. Blessings coming up on February 14th.

Here it is Tuesday and another day is upon me ever so grateful for another sober day. Another chance to live and be of service to the Man up stairs and to the fellowship of AA and SR. Everyday a new thought passes thru my mind to reflect on. Moments ago the thought of..... The Truth Shall Set You Free... And how true it is today for me. Years ago i wasnt true to myself nor to family and friends. Of course no one knew that but me, myself and I. Oh, of all the Man upstairs. For the past yrs, i had been so miserable because i kept secrets inside so no one else would get hurt and yet these secrets of untruthfulness kept me held bondage withing myself. Today, because of the willingness to let go of those untruths, or secrets, i am free. FREEDOM......what an awesome word. Freedom with nothing to hide. To be an open book to people that r close to u. It's an unbelievable feeling to experience. And because the truth has set me free, Im free to experience all the joys in life. Even more so than ever before. Today i look forward to what lyes ahead of me. February 14th. Another chance to share my life with another and with nothing to hide. I look forward to repeating the marriage vows without a hangover like i did in my first marriage 20 some ought yrs ago. In fact my fiance and I have been saying them and sharing our thoughts about them. Vows not to be taken lightly. Of course its pretty cool to have had experience once before in marriage and now today I can correct the wrongs to make right. For better or worst. In Sickness and health. For richer or poor. Till death do you part. And of course as long as it's the Man upstairs will for all. Thanks for letting me share.

Here it is Wednesday and all is quiet. My fiance' and I laugh and cut up about not remembering what we have planned for Saturday.....we're just having fun with it like 2 kids..... We see our marriage license on the table in a large white envelope and we'd wonder, nowwhat is that for from the Clerk Of Court...lol and we'd pretend we dont have a clue. Maybe something will ring a bell..... hehe I guess it's our way of keeping the days calm and simple. Even tho this is both of ours second time go round, we r still getting anxious. All we want to do is get dressed, hope on our bike and ride as if its any other day, then up and say..."hey let's get married right now." We have the right papers and all we need to do is stop in to the Justice of the Peace and have him or her marry us... That's pretty much the way it will go except we had to make our appointment and get the license ahead of time. Nothing spur of the moment here.....haha We r however sooooo looking forward to getting our tattoos. The only draw back with that is.....we have a 6 pm appointment which will take 4 hours.....we r early birds and we know it will be way past our bedtime with this.....hopefully we wont fall asleep will getting tatto'd....lol na dont think so....

Thursday, Friday Saturday...HURRAY..! Another good day almost coming to an end. We have a beautiful sunset right now at 5:15. However tomorrow we shall have rain. Then Saturday, our wedding day, it's suppose to be nice. Well that's what the weather station says. If the weather is nice we will ride on our Harley to the Justice of the Peace. If not....we will take the car. I went to the Harley store this morning to touch base with our Witnesses and make sure they know what time to be there and what to wear. Come casual and keep it simple. No bells or whistles. I picked them up a lovely thank you card that we will place a gift card to a steak resturant for them to enjoy. A token to show our appreciation for them helping us out. At 6pm we will be sitting in the tattoo shop awaiting on new tats. Hmmmm....wonder who's going first this time.....

Friday.....then SATURDAY...!!!!! Let's see....most of the day I spent sharing here on SR. It always makes me feel good to share my ESH here with others. Weather today was kinda spotty showers mixed with sunshine.....however tomorrow we r due with 40% chance of the same thing. I always thought it was bad luck when it rained on ur wedding day....... In my first marriage I walked down the isle on a beautiful Saturday morning at 11:00 with a horrible hangover. And in my wedding pictures the sunlight is directly on the cross on the altar. I thought for sure it was a good sign for a long lasting marriage. Well 25 yrs is nothing to sneeze at. Right? And my fiance' had a 35 yr. marriage with his wife passing away due to illness and they married with sunshine too. Tomorrow rain or shine I dont think it will cast bad luck for us. This time go round we both r sober and we have prayed for protection and guidance for His Will and not ours. As long as we follow our program and apply it to our everyday affairs then we have a good chance of living the remainder of our lives happy joyous and free. Tune in for tomorrows update... Thanks for letting me share.

Happy Valentine's Day To You SR. Today is Valentine's Day, Wedding Day and Tattoo Day. Any thing else? Oh yeah, Another SOBER DAY. YEEHA..! Woke up with rain down pouring as expected. It cleared and now its just over cast. However ..... There is lots of sunshine in both my fiance's heart and mine on this exciting day in both our lives. We started off the day with my fiance making an AA meeting and picking up breakfast for us. I had given him a stained glass picture for our kitchen window and burgandy satin sheets for our bed tonight. Then with out expectations my fiance gave me a lovely card and a heart necklace. Very pretty. And this is just the beginning of a wonderful day. Anticipation as to what lyes ahead. Wedding at 4pm, tattoos at 6pm. Ill return for further news as it happens. Thanks for letting me share this day with you.

We bought the pillow cushion tour seat for our 2008 Crimson Red Road King Classic. The next piece we will get will be the tour pack with the storage box and back rest. After that we stop in for chinese for lunch....yum.... Now its time for a nap....lol The weather is still over cast. As of now we r still planning to take the Road King to get married at 4 unless the sky falls out..... We'll just have to see what happens at 3:30...... Till then we're just chillin. Ill be back later.

Yeeha..! it's official. We are now married. Husband and wife. We rode out of the driveway on our Road King with a small circle of sunlight peering from the clouds. No rain tho. Which was GREAT..! Still threating tho. Our witnesses showed up the same time as us. There was no one waiting to be married when we got there before 4pm, so the Lady Justice of the Peace took us right on in. The chapal was very nice. There was a small alter with flowers and another stand with candles on it. She light 2 tapered ones to represent each of us as individuals before the ceremony. We then exchanged our traditional vows to each other and placed the rings on each others hands. The Lady JOP was very nice which made the ceremony for both of us meaningful. Papers were signed and it was over. Short, sweet, lovely, and meaningful. Just what we both wanted. Now we are excited about getting our tattoos shortly. I'll return tomorrow to share more as i end this share as a newly married woman to an AWESOME MAN. Thanks for letting me share.

Congratulations Sharon, and thanks for sharing Sharon.you've tied the knot and jumped the broom. It is called "Holy" matrimony, I guess that means that you guys HP and yourselves have entered into a covenant, an agreement. May you be blessed because of your commitment. I also have the Sundowner pillow seat and the tour pack with the back rest on my Road King Classic. I have heard that it is very comfortable.

Happy Sunday Bikers and SR family. Yesterday was a filled day of events from the time we woke up till we went to bed. Everything happened as it as supposed to be. We even finished getting tattoos an hour early with time to come home and chill a little bit before heading off to sleep. Both of our tattoos came out pretty cool looking. Very vibrant red on my large rose as this morning i have neosporine on it to keep it moist. Some swelling as to be expected which is part of the process for a beautiful tattoo to emerge. Stlll reflecting on our ceremony yesterday as we listened to the Officiant of the court or Justice of the Peace explain the vows we were about to take. What was awesome was how she touched upon the subject of HONESTY. It was soooo cool because both of us already know the importance of TRUST and HONESTY within our AA program. We also began this new relationship of ours based on Trust and Honesty already to lay a strong foundation of what is to come in our marriage. Kinda gave us chills just hearing it from someone else. Anyway the day ended about as perfect it could. And today begins a new day for the remainder of our natural sober life together. Thanks SR Family for allowing me to share this experience with you guys.
