Biker Check-In Part Deuce...

It's a balmy 18 degrees here in good ole' Michigan - not conducive to riding.
How is everyone doing?

I am doing well, thanks for asking. We still have a couple of inches of ice in the fields, but most of the roads are clear.

Where's Hurricane?

Am I gonna get blackballed for saying it's in the low 80's here and I did quite a bit of sober riding over the weekend?

Glad you're survived all that Ice, Power ? We only got an inch or two of snow.
I've been sitting in the stands taking it all in, not much to say lately.
My computer crashed yesterday so I have been enjoying hours of downloading programs again on this wonderful dial up. Grateful to be clean and sober.

I'll be there soon but not soon enough to brag about warm winters. See ya in about a month and don't try to hide Bruh.

Went to check up on the Dy Sunday. Worked out a (legal) deal where the face lift is only gonna cost me about 200-250 dollars.

Oh yeah, it was 60 on Sun and mid 50's yesterday. Sun just a shinnin!! What a difference!!

Astro...Low 80's? You are so blackballed. No, just kidding - it would be boring to me if it were the same temperature all the time, LOL.

70s during the day, and 30s at night. You can start the day's ride in full leathers, and come home in a tee-shirt and jeans!

Now, if ya'll come on up to Michigan, where us real bikers are, and start your ride in 30 degree snow flurries, full leathers, half-shields, and three layers of socks in your booter boots, and END the day when it's 20 degrees and dropping...THEN you can come and talk to me

Love ya brother!

And I to my motorcycle Parked like the soul of the junkyard Restored, a bicycle fleshed With power, and tore off Up Highway 106 continually Drunk on the wind in my mouth Wringing the handlebar for speed Wild to be wreckage forever.

Oh, I think I'm qualified. I've ridden when the high was 11 degrees, and lost count of the days I've ridden in freezing or sub-freezing temps, rain, snow, etcetera. Part of the reason I live in Texas is that here that kind of weather is extremely rare. It's not my fault you choose to live in Yankee-land!

It was about 19 this morning with 3-4 inches of snow. We survived the ice storm..but lots of cleaning up to do. ARGG...

My PMS (parked motorcycle syndrome) is ever increasing and I can feel the NEED to be on it with my face in the wind...don't care if I have to bundle up...but the ice on the roads makes it impossible to even attempt such a venture.... oh well....patience....I know.....

Toad-
I know that road in MO. I used to pass it all the time on 54 coming back to IL. There is an intersection there on 54 in a town so small you would blink and miss it...
