Welcome Shellbell Jer.........that highway (there are several AA roads in Mo.) snakes from one side of the state to the other. The picture was taken at AA and US 63, about 20 miles south of Jefferson City. Annie..........in all seriousness..........it thrills my heart to see your smile. It shows all over your posts. Thanks for sticking around. You have blessed us all.

Sorry Toad, never was much of a pipe smoker...and I'm only now entering the fourth step, although I hear I will feel a whole lot better when it is finished. AWW, thanks...I am truly happier than I have ever been in my entire life despite the trials and tribulations I am walking through. And quite honestly, you all have blessed ME! I am humbled... Annie p.s. Hey Bill :nana

Kym...Thanks! I'll send my guardian angel your way so he can ride shotgun (riding bi#ch came to mind, but that's probably not an appropriate term when talking about an angel). ![]() And remember, never ride faster than YOUR guardian angel can fly!

Check out page 75 in the book Alcoholics Anonymous - second paragraph, beginning "We pocket our pride..." Promises! Then on pages 83 through 85 - last paragraph, beginning "If we are painstaking..." and ending with "...in fit spiritual condition." More promises! Look at page 87 - top of the page, beginning "What used to be..." Even more promises! It goes on and on. The book is chock full o' promises, and my experience is that every single one of them comes true if I work the Steps. The Steps won't cure Yankee-ism, but will definitely ease the symptoms of alcoholism!

| Born in Sioux country (NE.), grew up just south of the Mason/Dixon line (MD). Got blood lines that would make steak sauce jealous. My life is based on my decisions so.... Where I started off as an outlaw biker, I today, am a biker in recovery with a little outlaw still left in him. ![]() naner naner naaaner

| Jesse was an outlaw from Missouri who was not a Yankee and that's all I'm gonna say about that. If Jesse would have lived during these times he would have rode a hog, and probably have been in recovery.......he wasn't a dummy, just a stressed out veteran.
