Bike Run - SoberRecovery : Alcoholism Drug Addiction Help and Information

Hi my name is Traci and I live in Pennsylvania. I am looking for some bikers to do a rally to raise awareness and money for our domestic violence shelter (the only one in our community) Fayette County - which is a non-profit organization. I dont know much about bike runs which is why Im perhaps looking to you for some help/guidance/direction....I am the daughter of an alcoholic and addiction runs deep in my family. My mother was beaten to death with a microwave 3 years ago but ultimatley it was the alcohol that killed her. I was also married to an addict for several years. thank you kindly for any help you can give. Or perhaps you can forward this to any biker friends that may be able to help.

Hello Traci,

Welcome to the forum. Possibly you could go by your local Harley Davidson dealership and talk to some of the members of H.O.G. (Harley Owners Group). They have runs for good causes and might be able to help you.

You might also contact your local chapter of Bikers Against Child Abuse. They are very active in the fight against domestic violence, and protecting its victims.
