| Webfoot!
I think I'm starting to get webfoot from all the riding in the rain. I had someone ask me the other day... What do you do when it rains? Really!! I couldn't believe it. Well buddy, you get wet!! I'm good in the rain, but I'll tell you. The other day was a serious thunder storm; I was cool until the lightning started cracking right over my head. That kind of freaked me out, so I hauled up under a bridge for a bit. Hope everyone is enjoying the summer. I am, despite all the wetness. Chief

I have had to ride in the rain several times this summer also. The PGR had a mission for a KIA about a month ago and the procession, and flag line at the cemetery were all in the rain. I then had a 70 mile ride home in the rain. My boots got soaked and my toes got wrinkled. Still, it was all worth it to honor a true American Hero. This summer has been very good. I have had a chance to ride in one Home Coming (a medical detachment), and one Send Off (Mp detachment). Several Sober rides with brothers and sisters in recovery at different conventions. This weekend myself and a friend are riding to the Missouri State AA convention. We're even going to meet up with Hurricane. Tony.........good to see you posting..........I want to thank you for your service to this great nation. Also I want to thank you for your strong witness for Christ and your service to christian brothers and sisters. Who is my neighbor??

My friend toad, Thank you for the sentiment. You are the one that needs to be thanked, it was vets like you that paved the way for people that serve today. I look around today and I see all of these "support our troops" stickers and ribbons; which is a good thing, but it just makes me think about my dad and my uncle and all of their bros. When all you guys came back from the Nam this nation treated you like crap, that part of our history makes me ashamed. When someone thanks me today, I tell them to find a Vietnam vet and thank him... Because they are the ones owed thanks, I just get to ride on their coat tails. My Lord has blessed me. He pulled me from the muck and maier and freed my soul from a vicious obsession and set me on a path of life. All praise and glory be to God.

You are right Jazzed! I should have... Its just funny to me the questions we'll get asked by the RUBs and weekend warriors. Sometimes I want to say "Are you serious? And by the way, don't call me bro!"
