Topic: Entirely Ready

Im Sharon and Im an Alcoholic.

By the Grace of my HP and people
like you here in SR I havent found
it necessary to pick up a drink of
alcohol since 8-11-90.

For that and you I am truely grateful.



Step Six: Were entirely ready to have God remove
all these defects of character.


" If we ask, God will certainly forgive our derelictions.
But in no case does He render us white as snow and
keep us that way without our cooperation. That is
something we are supposed to be willing to work
toward ourselves. He asks only that we try as best
we know how to make progress in the building of character."


And that is what I do. To the best of my ability
each day to do what is right. At work and to
those around me. To be nice, cordial. Don't lie,
dont be cruel. Dont gossip. Just a few things
that are certainly not in my nature to want to
do exactly right .

However JUST FOR TODAY I am WILLING
to do the next right thing. The next best thing
and turn it over to my HP for guidance or
direction to be the person He wants me to
be. HAPPY JOYOUS AND FREE from those
defects of character.
