Hi Im Sharon and Im a GRATEFUL Alcoholic.

By the grace of my HP as I understand Him
and people like you here in SR, I havent found
it necessary to pick up a drink of alcohol
since 8-11-90.

For that and you and blessings from Above
I am truely grateful.

JUST FOR TODAY I WILL NOT.....

What will you not do today?

Drink? Smoke? Lie? Steal? Curse? Be Mean
or cruel?

What is it that you can personally do today
to be a better person in recovery?

I heard at a meeting yesterday from one
of the "old-timers" that there is nothing
today that is so terribly bad that would
make me want to take a drink.

Is that true for you?

For me....there is nothing as long as I
follow the principles of our wonderful
program set down before us.

Share you experiences strengths and
hopes with those of us who need
to hear the message.

Kym, an alcoholic here...
Great topic Sharon. Let's see...today I will not project into the future. I will do my best to stay in today and not attempt to anticipate what tomorrow will bring. I can make plans but I can't plan the outcome. Yep, for me, today I will stay in today!!
