This darn near blew me away, it is so powerfull. I just had to start a new thread about powerfull examples of GOD in our lives, (or Higher Power for those struggling with the word GOD). I would love to hear stories from my Brothers and Sisters on how GOD has shown Himself in your lives. I will share some of mine too, but I want to start off with this.... These pictures are that of a 21-week-old unborn baby named Samuel Alexander Armas, who is being operated on by a surgeon named Joseph Bruner. The baby was diagnosed with spina bifida and would not survive if removed from his mother's womb. Little Samuel's mother, Julie Armas, is an obstetrics nurse in Atlanta. She knew of Dr. Bruner's remarkable surgical procedure. Practicing at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville , he performs these special operations while the baby is still in the womb. During the procedure, the doctor removes the uterus via C-section and makes a small incision to operate on the baby. As Dr.Bruner completed the surgery on Samuel, the little guy reached his tiny, but fully developed hand through the incision and firmly grasped the surgeon's finger. Dr.Bruner was reported as saying that when his finger was grasped, it was the most emotional moment of his life, and that for an instant during the procedure he was just frozen, totally immobile. These photographs capture this amazing event with perfect clarity. The editors titled the picture, 'Hand of Hope.' The text explaining the picture begins, 'The tiny hand of 21-week- old fetus Samuel Alexander Armas emerges from the mother's uterus to grasp the finger of Dr. Joseph Bruner as if thanking the doctor for the gift of life.' Little Samuel's mother said they 'wept for days' when they saw the pictures. She said, 'The photo reminds us pregnancy isn't about disability or an illness, it's about a little person.' Samuel was born in perfect health, the operation 100 percent successful. Now see the actual pictures, and how awesome and completely incredible they are... Don't tell me our God isn't an awesome God!!!!! ![]()

| Little Samuel was in the hands of two that day, the Surgeon as well as God. ![]() Thank you so much for sharing this today . . . of all days. I went to my Dr. this afternoon to get the results of my tests and the news wasn't good. I was worrying about my health and when I saw this, I realized that I had taken my Faith back from God. After closing my eyes in Prayer, I have given it back to God . . . in His Hands . . . where it belongs. This is how God has shown himself in my life today, through you sharing this beautiful story with me, God Bless You Rarly Harley. An Attitude of Gratitude, Judy

Psalm 40:5 Many, O LORD my God, are the wonders you have done. The things you planned for us no one can recount to you; were I to speak and tell of them, they would be too many to declare. I woke up today and took a breathe. I am sober yet another day. I had food on my table and a roof over my head. Even the awsome feeling of the wind in my face as I ride... can such a feeling come from any place else? How many times can I see over my past that all I can say is..there but the grace of God.. and I am here today still able to type away.
