Too many blessings to count

I just wanted to share a little something with you that's just another blessing of being sober and having a loving God.

I briefly mentioned in my last post about work injuries/surgeries from a job back in the late 90's that I got a workman's comp settlement for.

The beauty of sobriety is I am learning to live life on life's terms and that includes how I handle stressful situations.

It was 6 months from the injury to a proper diagnosis with that mess, and in order to keep myself from going nuts and shooting the idiots involved with WC, doctors included, I bought a couple of books on basic HTML and tutored myself on how to do websites.

I'm 99% done with one I'm doing for my local veterinarian here. My daughter had a cat that needed emergency care on a Sunday, so I offered up to do her a website in trade for knocking off on the sizable bill for the cat.

All I have left to do is the links page, and that's pending what she wants listed. I work around her schedule. Let me know what you think!

Oh, and being webmaster gave me the advantage of the first pictures in their pet photo album!

VERY NICE!!!

You did a wonderful job on that. I love the graphics! You chose some great angles and shading or whatever it's called.

You should be very, very proud of that.

It's obvious that a great deal of time went into that.

Looks like you have a new career!

Well done,
Judy

P.S. I liked where on the photo album showing the one dog in the car, you said he "scores doggie biscuits" Nice choice of words. I love it! Is the dog in Recovery as well? lol

Toby's an AA dog for sure, went to a few meetings when my daughter was in tow, usually on birthday night when we have potluck for everyone!

He was a rescue off of doggy death row back in 1998. My daughter and he were in the 4-H dog project for 7 years, and he qualified for state fair every year! Lots of purple and blue ribbons! He was retired two years ago. Vet estimated him at 4-5 years when I bailed him out and brought him home, so he's got to be around 14 at least. He's her heart dog, and has really enriched both of our lives

Thank you so much for the compliments. God has been very good to me and my little family, 4 legged members included!
