It was in the upper 40's today. The driveway took a pounding from the sun, enough to clear a path for me to get the scoot down.
It was like riding my bagger through the swamp, but I made it down and then made it back to the garage on my return.
First ride of the season and boy let me tell you. Did it ever feel good!
Lots of sand and other "junk" on the road, so did a little slip-slide here and there; but that keeps it interesting. I guess if I would have run off the road, the snow bank would have broke my fall!!! There is still about 8-12" of snow on the ground, but I don't care!! I'm rollin'! Maybe it's time to invest in a helmet, so I can ride in the 22deg weather tomorrow!!
I was the only bike on the road today. I love that... Cold will keep all the weekend warriors locked down until about mid May. By then, I'll have a month and a half of riding under my belt.

Next project - - Ride to a meeting - - coming soon.... Real soon....

P.S. Anyone have any idea what the wind chill is at 48deg going 95 MPH? It's cold enough to give you wind burn!!

It would be 22 deg. WC at 40deg @95 mph
95 mph with snow sand on the road ? You've been snowed in too long.

Was just a little "leg stretch" while I was on the highway. It was cold man!!

Went to the RMV and insurance company yesterday. Rain today, clear skies tomorrow.
Tomorrow I will be out and about.

Dropped the scoot off yesterday to get new skins. Then the old lady and I went about doing some shopping. Dealer calls me later in the afternoon, "Chief your bike is done, but there is no hurry for you to pick it up." So I asked... "Whys that?" Then I looked outside... 3" of snow on the formerly clear road. "Never mind, I figured it out; guess I'll be over there in a couple of days to get it." The joys of spring riding!! I try not to get more than about an hour away from the house when the wx is goofy!! I've been stuck in the snow before and thats a little sketchy...
Fair wx to you tomorrow Fran. Thursday its supposed to be really nice too.
