Happy Good Friday and Happy Easter!!!!

Hi all. Just looking out the window enjoying the last of this Michigan winter.
Any body in mid MI thinking about getting together for Bikin' for burns or any other ride?
I promised myself that I would ride more and worry less this year. I got the wife a 6oo ACE last year and by golly we (or me) are going to try and wear out some tires.
Any takers from the area?
All the best, Rich

Man, that sounds good! Hope I get to do the same!

You gonna burn some rubber and meet us at the Iron Horse in August?

Rich: I'm in Sault Ste. Marie Ontario. As soon as the weather clears, what say we saddle up and head to Saginaw and go to a meeting with FD4....?

I am over on the east coast. Bean Town. Home of the Red Sox.
My tires are worn out so no chance of a trip there just yet.

Our Area Assembly in the same weekend, but I am not going because Patroit Guard Riders are having their state meeting the 29th at Jeff City. I am a ride captain for south central, so I will be there............thinking about scooting out early and heading for the lake to the conference. I will possibly be there mid Sat. afternoon..........I will call you this week..........

You going?

Happy Easter

I just joined, going through some rough times and a major dose of realty. I love to ride although I am presently without a bike since I sold mine when I moved back home from FL to RI in 2006. My husband likes to ride, maybe he can put some of his energy into getting another two wheeler rather than drugs and alcohol. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend.

Welcome NRTS: Glad you found us. You'll find a wonderful group of sober, like-minded Brothers and Sisters here, more than willing to share their ES&H. I'm bettin' that if stick around, get to meetings, join a group, get a sponsor & read the literature, your handle will change from NRTS to EveryReasonToSmile.....

As soon as the weather clears??? Why, it's a balmy 34 degrees here, what's the problem? I've got chicken noodle soup on the stove, Me Casa is You Casa
Just tell us the time and the date and we'll be ready, but the riding in Saginaw is nothing to brag about. I say we all meet in Mackinac or the Sugar Island ferry!

well I'm above ground at least and I can walk and talk *and type* so maybe things aren't as bad but I don't have much to smile about.
What they say is the 1st step to solving any problem is admitting you have one so I've got that far!
Thanks again for the kindness, it goes along way

Welcome, NRTS. As you can see, you've stumbled onto a loving, slightly warped bunch o' sober scooter riders. I've met some of 'em, and they're just as weird in person!

Me, on the other hand... I'm the picture of normalcy!

Anyhoo, grab a cuppa and pull up a chair. Good to have you here.

As for the rest of you: Happy Easter! I'm cleared to drive now (no riding yet, dang it!) so I get to attend my regular Sunday morning meeting tomorrow. First time since all this hoo-ha started. Man, I'm grateful!

Dose of reality = "God Smacked! ! !"

Recovery = recuperation from the recoil

Results (can) =

My first real dose of reality was like gettin smacked ona neck by a gorilla!! It hurt and left me soooo confused.
Once I found something/place other than where I was to deal with the repercussion, my doses of reality became moments of clairity or as I like to call them, "God Smacks". They dont hurt near as much but they sure do get your attention!!
