Well, the truth is that The Bitch is almost back!

Got the fresh fenders from the painter yesterday, and started installing them last night. Finished bolting them up this afternoon. Also wired in and mounted the tail light, cut the new drive chain, and put it on the sprockets. All that's left now is to adjust and lube the chain, tie up some loose ends, and reinstall the battery.

I have to help a friend tomorrow and Saturday, so it might be Sunday or Monday before she's back on the ground and ready to roll. Then we find out if my new pogo-stick saddle and funkified back brace (old office chair parts and a used bagger backrest pad) will get me back on The Bitch where I belong. Hoping, hoping, hoping...

I like it. The seat adds an old style to it that will have people guessing.

If you're "inseam challenged" that new riding position won't do you much good. I'm 6'2", and it's tall for me!
