Hello Everyone...

Blessings to all who are part of this little community. I have been searching for a BB like this one for a long time.
I am a recovering alcoholic with 18 yrs. soberity. I have been clean and off drugs alittle over 4 months. I just substituted alcohol for drugs. It was a 36 year habit which consisted of weed, meth, cocaine, heroin, oxycoton, px drugs, and all the drugs that was associated with the 70's. Basically my drug of choice was yours. If you had it I wanted it.
Over the last 2 years my life started spinning out of control through my drug use. I had a friend through work who was a meth cook, and his brother was a weed grower who grew the best weed around. So the last 2 years of my life I was selling a pound of weed and a couple of ounces of meth a month. I had another friend who had a lifetime px of vicadines and oxycodones.
My addiction to meth spun out of control. I was getting alot of it for free so I was smoking around $250.00 aweek worth. I lost 40 pounds real quick and the congregation at my church started noticing. I told them I was working alot of physical labor and was under some stress. Any way they said I looked good. My wife noticed my change in attitude, weight loss, and asks me if I was doing drugs again. She had found weed in the house so many times. I lied to her and told her that I wasn't. Then one day she found a couple of grams of meth in the bathroom. I thought I had picked it off the floor that night before after I smoked some. Blah, blah, blah, I realize that I am starting to sound like a drug- a- log. To make a long story short..............
I have 2 Harleys, A 2000 Heritage and a 1979 Lowrider. I attened church 3 times a week, I am a Sunday school teacher, and attened Celebrate Recovery which helps quite alot with my addtictive personality. I could go on and on about my drug history and tell you horror stories but I think I will share that for later times. Be cool everyone and Blessings to all.

I guess I'm second...WELCOME Stick around. Toss that kickstand down and hang out.

For me, God takes care of my spirit and my soul. My mind and body was/is my responsibility.

My education comes from the 12-steps, starting with the first one. (Learning how to STAY clean)

My salvation comes from the Blessings from God. I had to learn how to accept those Blessings and live in within them.

I tell folks I was an equal-opportunity or smorgasbord drug abuser - if it was there, I took it!

Welcome to our humble corner of the 'net. Some good folks here (you've already been welcomed by a couple) and they've been a great addition to my recovery tool-kit. Like a second home group for me.

So kill the ignition and visit a while!
