Hi Im Sharon and Im An Alcoholic. By the Grace of my HP and people like you here in SR I havent found it necessary to pick up a drink of alcohol since 8-11-90. For that and you I am truely grateful. "I had been so elated by that wonderful experience on the road at night that I wanted to stay up in a cloud with God. But this was not to be. It was my place to be down among the suffering alcoholics, not up in a cloud. As long as I keep my feet on the ground, among the suffering, God will come down and remain always with me." I have come to realize over the yrs that my main purpose in life is to stay sober and help the next alcoholic achieve sobriety by sharing my own experiences strengths and hopes with them. There has been so much freely shared and passed on to me that eventually i would have to get out of my comfort zone and begin helping another in recovery. As I continue on my journey, with faith and guidance from above I will be given the strength and hope to carry the message where ever i go.... These past 17 yrs have been awesome as i look back on them.....even tho there were trying times, i never lost hope that all would pass and be good again. Different chapters in my life continue to unfold as I trudge on never knowing what to expect...however as long as I share what happened to me, where im at now in with a newcomer in hopes to help them stay sober then i should continue to ride that pink cloud.... I will still remain teachable and feet planted firmly in recovery and prepare myself for a new ride in my life....this time with a new person in recovery and God as my co-pilot holding on tight to a possible new Harley in a beautiful deep red color fiberglass and shiney new chrome....yeeha..!
