| The New Stellican Indian
Don't blink. The same company that resurrected Chris Craft boats in 2001 released a quick peak at their 2009 Chief with the new power plus motor to be made in house. of course I'm sure it will be priced for the rich yups and I think they need to let the name die, but it will be good to see another American made bike with it's own motor on the market again this coming fall. Just in case you are you were wondering.... Indian Motorcycle Home There is a lot of cool info on their site, but it sounds like they are going to be expensive. Also on the Motorcycle front... One of my good friends was telling me about Harley's stock taking a big hit here last week. And I guess they are expecting to loose another 10% or so. He is also convinced that means it will drive their prices down. Personally, I think Harley will lay people off before they drop their prices. TB

I've got an S&S in my scout. Gilroy used S&S in all Scouts ..Spirits 2001 - 2003 S&S in Chiefs 1999-2001 Power Plus 100 in Chiefs 2002 & 2003 Stellican era Chiefs 2009 A whole new Power Plus motor built in house. The Gilroy clowns put out the PP100's to soon and they are still blowing out today. Stellican bought the name and rights of everything out of bankruptcy in 2005 (I think) and has vowed they will take their time and get it right. Another thing about Gilroy, is they assembled the S&S motors their self and used a few Taiwan parts to save money. No wonder they went broke. I've changed out the Taiwan stuff in my S&S along with other cheap parts that have stranded me along side the road and managed to stay sober through it all. Hope that clears it up Hammer |
