We've been having a real winter here this year; lots of snow, ice, salt all over the road, way to dicey to be riding, and it's killin me! I bought a bunch of cold weather gear to handle the temps, and I can't use any of it. Tomorrow I'm spending the day at the International Motorcycle Show, which will probably make the "jonsin" worse. LOL. I just can't hardly wait for a crack in the winter get back on the road, and I had to post where I knew some folks would understand. |

I feel your pain Doug, I really, really do. In Kentucky, when its warm enough to ride (above 32) then it's either raining or snowing and I can't ride. This sunday it's supposed to be in the 50's but cloudy. I am going to try to get out if at all possible. I honestly get to jonsin' pretty bad myself....know you are NOT alone!! Glad you shared!! Kym In Kentucky where I feel like this...

I will be leaving for VA on Saturday or Sunday to drive my son back to base and when I return... the weatherman said that Boston will be warm. Maybe as high as 60. So... while the weather is cold and warming up, I will be in a warmer area and return to a couple of days that I may be able to ride for a bit.

The next 4 or 5 days are supposed to be high 40's which is well higher than my low temp limit. But theres supposed to be rain too, and there's alot of snow to be melted so it'll be wet and messy fo' sho', but we'll see. If I can get an hour out there I'd be happy. |

| I should be in VA beach around 6-7 PM Sunday and then in Glen Burnie MD around midnight. At some point on Monday I will be leaving to head back to Boston. My son is stationed at Oceana and my daughter lives in MD.

| what is your route TO VA Beach? Ya see, I live in Salisbury, MD about 100 miles due north of VA. B. on route 13. 13 goes into Newport News via the Hampton Bay Bridge/Tunnel. I am out of the way to Glen Burnie though.

| I-64 west / I-295N / I-95N. The rest of the route depends on where she actually lives. You may be able to bypass Richmond and DC by taking Rt.301N from I-64W. I just cant remember exactly where Glen Burnie is.

Shoot Jazz, bad news, good news. The bad news is, after I snapped this single photo, my camera failed and wouldn't take anymore pictures. I was not happy about it at all, but here's the one pic- ![]() This new Buell is pretty impressive in person, it's cool seeing it up close rather than photos. And the Buell display has a cut away full size model too, as well as one of the Firebolt. The good news is, you can follow this link to enter to win the Diablo Buell- One Lucky Diablo Will WIN A Pirelli Themed, Custom Painted Buell 1125R Overall a very cool show. Everybody had all their new bikes there, in fact I walked the place a few times to be sure I didn't miss any. The new Fat Boy looks better in person than in magazines too; it's a pretty "beefy" bike. |

It's been about 70' here in southern Missouri for the last three days. I rode 100 miles sunday........we are paying for the good weather tonight. With the extreme warm weather and an approaching cold front, we are having tornado's. Four casualities so far. The storms seem to be going north of Mountain Grove.....we only have a few sprinkles and some light wind.

I am home and I will be heading out on the bike a little later. 60 here in Boston. Jazed... Sorry I didn't get to connect with you. We had to hot foot it the whole way. My son is still in the practice stage for becoming a recovered alcoholic. He went out the night before so we ended up with a late start. We didn't reach the base till after 10 and I didn't reach my daughter's till almost 3 AM.
