| @#%$ They broke into my deteriorating pole barn where I keep my bike and tools. Thankful they only took my barrel of scrap copper and nothing else. When I can afford a new 36" door, It's coming in the house with the hound. For now I'm gonna go for a short put tomorrow then lock it up in my brother n law's garage. I won't go into everything else that I think isn't fair right now and I'll just come on down from the cross with that. It will get better. Thanks for letting me whine. |

We have a new law in Texas - the "Castle Doctrine" law - that allows citizens to use deadly force to repel intruders, without the previous "duty to retreat." In seperate incidents in a single month, a Dallas welding shop owner shot and killed two copper thieves. Not that I'm advocating violence or anything. Just pointing out that copper thieves are everywhere.

hmmm I wonder if I get a can of spray paint (copper) and spray some junk that needs go to the dump.... I have a double set of lights that turn on automaticly if someone crosses the path. Has worked so far. Seen one kid run when the light turned on. A shotgun loading (everyone knows that sound) had another one run even faster. No problems for over two years now.
