| A Big Bump in the road
Mertyl's gone tomorrow. I can't afford her payments any longer. There will be other bikes. I hurt bad right now, physically, emotionally and mentally. But I brought a lot of this on myself. Certainly not the physical. But most of the rest. I started family counseling today, hopefully to deal with a lot of the crap I have goin. I know yall pray for me, thanks for that. I know things always get darkest before the dawn. Probably won't be on for a while, don't worry about me. My phone got disconnected today too. |

Jimmy Take our phone numbers and stay in touch. I thought I would be off my bike for a long time after talking with the lawyer. I put it in the shed and they never came for it. Dec of 05 till July of this year it sat. Things have a way of working out. Not only do I still have the bike, I own it 100%. No payments. You will see a day when you can say the same. Yes prayers are with you and will always be with you every time the Holy Spirit brings you to my thoughts.

Just a bump in the road. Keep doing the next right thing, continue to go to your meetings, look for a newcomer to work with, and God will continue to be with you everyday in everything you do............we will pray as family prays for each other. It's the same thing. Remember to pray for Kym Wed. morning. Hey..........you're probably old enough to ride an Ultra Classic (That a joke Jimmy, so laught yur ass off.......it's good medicine Scripture says) God just might have one of those Touring Models (old people stuff) in your near future........I love you my brother..........toad

I'll keep you in my prayers Hammer. I lost my truck in recently but things are slowly turning around. My problems are nothing compared to a lot of you guys yet you keep that positive attitude, trust in God and stay sober. It has taken me losing some material things that I had gained as a byproduct of sobriety, to find some of that serenity I was looking for in material stuff.(yes I did it backwards ) You guys have help me learn that with your post like this, that we can stay sober regardless. (I hope that didn't come out wrong and offend anyone) |

Jimmy my prayers are with you my friend!!! Please keep in touch with us as best you can. I'll be anxious to hear from you and know that you are doing okay. Stay close to your AA buds and your home group. Know that we are all here saying prayers for you and your family. I understand your hurting about the bike...but just remember that our Father never shuts a door without opening another one. He has something better in mind for you. Just be patient, do the next right thing as He presents it to you and trust in Him. We love you!!!!!!!!!!!!! And to quote our buddy Toad "And there ain't nothin' you can do about it"!!
