I seez your picture........welcome. I knew when Best got back he could answer your questions. You AA, NA, AV, CA, Celebrate Recovery or anything else? Tell us how you're doing. Raaaaaaaaaaarly (Rarely) have we seen a person fail who has throughly followed our path. those who do not recovery are people who cannot or will not completly give themselves to this simple program, usually men and women who are constitutionally incapable of being honest with themselves." (page 58 AA) Only the "cannots" and "will nots" fail to recover...............toad

There are such unfortunates, they are not at fault. They cannot or will not give themselves to this simple program.

Im AA, god willing it will be 20 years on the 28th of this month. What a journey its been for me. Im looking to relocate to warmer climates. I cant handle the winters up here. Kinda got my eyez on Tennessee. I tried calling Intergroup down there just to ask questions about the area, they really didnt want to talk to me unless I wanted to know where an AA meeting was. I use to be Office manager for Intergroup in Corpus Christi, I think we were alot friendlier lol. I need to be making up my mind soon, coz winter starts early where Im at now.

Some Intergroup phone lines are not manned by AAs, but by paid answering services. Operators can give you meeting info, but can't tell you much more about AA in their area because because they aren't members. You might try going to http://www.alcoholics-anonymous.org/en_find_meeting.cfm and finding e-mail or telephone contact for groups in areas you're interested in, and making contact that way. Of course, you could always come back to Texas. Winter's not much of a problem here! :andy: And happy soon-to-be birthday! Whoo-hoo!
