| Just thought you might like to see this...
....I normally don't post in this section (When I was still married, my husband and I owned a '56 Pan Head with a suicide clutch, my truck was custom painted with flames to match the Harley, I still enjoy riding, but I no longer own a bike)...anyway...earlier this year I attended Autorama in Detroit, this was a custom bike made completely out of steel, I thought you might like to see a picture....Cathy

Steel from a bone yard? *LOL* That looks great. Thank you. First biker on the side of the road that I stopped for back a few years now... He was on a Pan Head with a suicide clutch. Nothing I could have done for him other then shag his buddy with the truck but he had already found a payphone and was waiting for him. Still gave me a chance to see a great bike up close and ask a few questions.

As a teenager, I attended car and bike shows, and drooled over hotrod and chopper magazines. Always boggled my mind when I saw those wild, unrideable custom creations. Some didn't even have gas tanks! I prefer straight-line motorcycles myself - my "customizing" consists of stripping extra weight from the bike, bolting on an AA medallion (to remind myself and others why I'm free to ride today), and swapping saddles, handlebars, and footpegs to make the ride more comfy. Still, I marvel at the ingenuity and artistry that goes into a piece like that. BTW, I ran a suicide clutch once, for 24 hours. Not for me! If I ever did go back to a foot clutch, I'd use the OEM toe-to-go rocker, instead of the spring-loaded on-off pedal.
