| The Hammer Rides Again
The pics are harsh, but I'll have good ones tomorrow night. ![]() IMG]http://i163.photobucket.com/albums/t294/05081998/Jordie010.jpg[/IMG] Jordie gave the thumbs up on this sled, a '01 FLSTFI Screamin Eagle Stroker (95") with Screamin Eagle heads, etc. Blessings, Jimmy |

Jimmy, Congrats, brother! That's a sharp-lookin' scoot, but it's a far cry from the LT you were shoppin' for. Is that Softy gonna work okay with your back?

Nice As for HD wanting the first born... hmmmm maybe I could get a free bike out of that. They take her in payment, they will be asking I take her back *LOL* Ok but give me a bike first *LOL* My daughter is one tough cookie. Nice but tough. Is that forward controls or just pegs on it?

If that's his garage we're loading up the kindergarteners and taking a field trip to Jimmy's house! Nice bike and a beauty with you in the pic.

As for building up: Take it a day at a time, and respect your body's limits. Take frequent breaks for stretching and walking around. Apply ice at the end of each day's ride, and get plenty of rest. I'm gonna be in the same boat once this cast comes off, and that's my plan!

Far out Jimmy. Looks good on ya. The bike too.....I've got the stock HD backrest on my Glide too. Then I bought a wide lumbar support belt like the weightlifters use. My belt has a pocket on the inside, centered in the middle of it. I bought some high density foam, then carved out a half-moon piece that fit inside the pocket. Next, I added adjustable highway pegs on the crash bar. When I'm cruisin', the foam in the belt rests securely in the center of my lumbar region and my feet on the pegs keeps my butt from sliding forward. It's like ridin' my Lazyboy down the highway. I've riden 500 miles a pop like this, with no lower back pain. I've used this set up for 7 years now and as long as I stretch before a long ride and stop to stretch often, I don't have any problems. My previous ride was a 1985 Wing with no backrest. Had to sell it after one season, my lower back was fubar. I'll take some pics of my setup and post em' for ya'. Only drawback is it makes me look like I have a way bigger belly than I do have.....LOL

Gotta feel good after all this time, Jimmy! Ride safe, and have fun! Thanks for the PM. I gotta dig up my accessories book ("Rip-off rag"? Cute! ) and have a gander at that saddle.
