Thanks. Same situation here... prolly i could still make some short ridings, but i think it's now better make some light season maintenance to my Suzuki Bandit 1200S and let him/her rest and dream his/her oily dreams in the warm stable til spring. Too slippery out ther too... tires wont warm at all any more. And too freezing also. Only 5 months left... -greywolf- |

Welcome Greywolf. I'm in Kentucky and pretty much ride all year long. Sometimes February is out of the question but that's about it! I don't mind the cold, but I do mind the snow and ice on the roads! LOL!!!!!! Again, welcome and I look forward to your shares! Blessings, Kym

Welcome, Greywolf! This board can provide you some fellowship with other sober bikers while your Bandit hibernates. As for us, riding season is really just beginning. After months and months of hot, humid weather, or blinding rain from hurricanes in the Gulf, the temps have finally started dropping into the 40s and 50s at night, and hitting 70s and 80s in the afternoons. I've ridden the past three days, and plan to ride to my meeting tomorrow morning. Feels SOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!! :andy:

Swim naked in the river...........Took this burned up brain of mine a few seconds to get that one. Welcome, appreciate your input. I got sober this last time 9-12-98. Had my drivers licenses revoked for 14 years, rode a bicycle for the last 8 years of my recovery. Got my license back in January of this year and was able to score a 07 Road King. I see the promises of AA coming true........I don't want to go back to the way it was before.

No, the curb is where we all park our bikes! Our stunning good looks have nothing to do with it.
