I got to take my first ride this season today. It was almost 50 today and there is still a couple of feet of snow on the ground. But it was in the upper 40's today and I couldn't wait!! I did about 200mi and it was awesome!!
I almost ditched it in the driveway on my return trip though.... Man is the ground soft! Oh well, it was worth the pucker factor... I had an awesome day!! I can't wait until summer is really here.... Nothing like having a big smile in bug season!!

Enough out of me, just wanted to share.

That's way cool Tony. Glad you got in the wind. I can hardly wait. I'm also little kid exited about Founder's Day in Akron....

If I get enough things done around here, I may try for Akron.

I am looking at about 2 weeks before the bike is back on the road.
2 weeks before it is on and 20 years before I ever take it off again.
Paid for and fully owned by me I won't need pay the higher priced insurance that the bank said I need.

We took our first ride of the season also....got a little cold on one stretch...we just pulled over and had a cup of hot coffee with some other sober bikers. Man, it was splendid!

Tony- I'm soooooo glad you got out there!!!!!!!!

I'm still waiting to catch some wind. Got all my stuff home to put the crank case cover back on and the new slave cylinder and, wouldn't ya know it, they didn't give me the seals I had ordered...dang it!!! So another 3-5 days before those come in and then, maybe just maybe, the clutch will be okay again and I can get out there.

My good bud is celebrating his 4 years on St. Patty's day (what a day to quit, huh!!??) and, if it's around 50, he'll take me out on his. So, although I'll be riding (you know what!!)at least I'll be out on two wheels!! LOL!!!!!!!!

By the way, great hubby I have for not throwing the jealousy thing around, huh?? A good man he is!!!
