Never been to St Louie. It would be a first crossing of the Mississippi for me other then by plane. Sure hope that things could come together that I would be able to go. Now as for the snow and being City Essential... I remember such when we had the big blizzard in our area. MIL and wife were stuck at work for 3 days.

Jimmy: I've just about had my fill of cold and snow. It was -30 degrees Celcius this morning and the weather report says an arctic cold front is headed our way. I'd trade the cold for snow, anytime. Brrrrrrrr. At least I've got the Founder's Day Run locked in my brainpan. A little light at the end of the tunnel.....

So y'all probably don't want to hear that I've been out riding for the past five days, do ya? ![]() I'm doing my best to get in as many miles as I can before next week's surgery, and God's being very cooperative. Temps will be in the 70s and low 80s most of the week, with light winds and not a hint of rain. Yee-haw!

Was out riding in the cage today and had a thought...even if the bike would start, would I be crazy enough to ride? Wind chill without adding MPH was below zero today.

| They shore do...I'm tres' happy that you're gettin in all that ridin' Bill. I won't be ridin'n for a bit, so I installed the "power tower" my lovely wife bought me for Xmas on the throttle body of my Z71. Gave me 10+ horses, yee haw back at ya.....Next trick will be to put a cold air induction kit on her. It's all about horses and sound, whether it's two wheels or four, ain't it....?

My somewhat of an addiction is progressing. I rode 108 miles today through the Ozark hills on two-lane black tops. It was 64 degrees with pleanty of sunshine. Just getting my road king broke in. Its got a little over 1,100 miles on it now. The bike and myself are becoming closer as we mature together. I thought that maybe sometime I might want to get married again.........that was until I bought a new Harley.........toad

I aint much of a BonJovi fan, but I like that line in "Dead or Alive"; ...I'm a cowboy, on a steel horse I ride... A cowboy often risked his life and limb for his horse cuz his horse was his life and his limbs. Blessings, Jimmy

| Toad: The A.A. program has given me both. God led me to a woman 8 years ago that had never riden. I was riding a Softail Standard at the time. I took Bonnie for a run up to Thunder Bay on it and a few weeks after we got home, she said "let's get a bigger Harley". Bonnie and I have been married now, for 6years. We have a long winter up here, so I drive a 5.3 GMC Sierra Z71. Soon as I bought it, I put dual exhaust on it with Flowmasters. At Christmas, Bonnie bought me a Felix Power Tower for it that gave me another 12 horses or so. It really is all about horses and sound for me. The bigger miracle is that I'm happily married to a woman in recovery who loves me and understands me. I am so gratefull that God led me to A.A. and A.A. led me to God. Nuff said...
