Jazz, I'm in Austin, Texas, but I spent Thanksgiving in your neighborhood. My father was born in Baltimore, and grew up in Catonsville. He and my Mom (who was in hospice care in Ellicott City, and died the day after Thanksgiving) are both buried at New Cathedral Cemetery in Baltimore. You're in a pretty part of the country, and it looks to have some great riding roads, but I noticed it also has a lot of Highway Patrol. Easy on the throttle, mi amigo!

I'm in Winchester, Kentucky. A great little town. I work in Lexington, Kentucky though....not too keen on that city! It's beautiful in Kentucky; lots of nice little county roads to hop around on and the scenery can be just beautiful! Kym

| Stayed in Henderson for 3 days. When I first crossed into KY, the green was a green I had never seen before. So rich in color. I drove through up from Tenn.

| I feel your misery, Hurricane! We're iced in, and we've been housebound since midday Sunday. My wife had a snow day today, and we just learned she'll have another one tomorrow. This is what I get for bragging about Texas, and our 11 1/2 month riding season!

This is what I get for bragging about Texas, and our 11 1/2 month riding season! Har-Har. Misery loves company. We have about 16" of snow on the ground and it was - 22 degrees celcius yesterday. Shiver me timbers. Warmed up to - 13 today, Florida!

Still colder than a well-digger's ass, and the highway outside our front door has been stop-and-go all day, because few people here have any experience driving in ice and snow, but by next week it'll be riding weather again! Wish you were here?

| *LOL* Just started getting a little cold here this week. We have been getting some great days for riding late in the season. Now Tony is more north and then there are those in Canada. They have it cold. A cold day for me, they call it spring.

I stayed on Bainbridge for six months after getting out of the service, and worked at a recycling plant down on Elliott Street in Seattle. I also made several trips up there over the years, and every time I did I got there just in time for beautiful weather! Even in the dead of winter! My last trip up, I rented a bike in Seattle and rode up into the peninsula for a couple of days. Fantastic riding! I'd like to do it again someday.
