| Just a note letting err'budy kno I wasn't dead....yet. Puter was down for at least a week and ...well,...all that drama was for others any-who. Just sorta watched, shaking muh head. So, I am still alive and (kinda) well. Got a project in the garage, a bruised knee and a sore back. Bills are paid and I am still employed and married. Didn't use yesterday, today and am not living a life aimed at using tomorrow. In my life, there is a God and I understand what I am supposed to.

| Thank God.
Mykl: I'm not dead either Bro. I'm still alive, woke up sober this morning and thanked the God of my understanding for another day. I too am happily married, my bills are sorta kinda up to date and Annie is running like a dream. I too, suffered mightily through the aforementioned conflict. I pray this forum will resurrect. I firmly believe what it says in my Big Book, that their ain't a darn thing that happens in my God's world that is a mistake. I also believe that if I don't stand for what I believe, then I will fall for everything. I pray that it is my God's will to heal all the wounded hearts out there and bring us all back together in this forum, following the principles of 12 step recovery. Glad you started a new post Jazzed. Just to let you know of the fun I'm having this summer, here is a pic of me as a first time kayak pilot up on Lake Supoerior. My lovbely wife and I spent a wonderfull week up there, in a log cabin. It was mighty fine. Thank God for A.A...... ![]()

Thank God for AA indeed. I worked a full 40 hours out of town last week, just a temp job at an alcohol/drug counseling center as they have the state coming in for an audit this next week and desperately needed help getting things organized. I found a nice little AA group there that fit in with my work hours and attended My first two college classes start Monday, and the other three the Monday after. I think once I finish this double degree, I may just go for the associate's in addictions counseling too! I've got two website jobs, two more possibles, and I've been busier than a 3-legged cat on exlax! Tomorrow I am doing as little as possible. The weather has been unusually cool and wet for Kansas. We're usually hitting triple digits and drying out bad.

| Hey ya'll, Still clean, (recognized 12 the other day) and am staying as close to Him as comfortable. You know, that whole 'if we actually see Him, we will parrish' thing? ![]() Anywho, got my health and my unemployment. Got one of the trucks for sale and my wife still loves (and likes) me. My project is at a stand-still for now, waiting on either parts or more money. The Dy could use some top end TLC and a face lift, ($$$$). My only issue is the economy out here and my "greener grass" thinking. (we know where this could leave us)My sponsor works for Crete Trucking. I applied with them last year and was told to come back in a year with a little more distance away from my past driving wreckage. Stable job, average money, lots of travel, miss my wife. Pros and cons to everything. My today is just starting and we shall see what it brings. Supposed to be a sunny day in the 70's.

Dy is getting the face lift cuz of the wreck. Gonna move to Greener Grass to save the house, (and we can). Not too many cons on that one aside from the expense of the move. I am healing from the accident. I got $900.00 for the truck, the one I just bought back from my son who I gave it to. From what I understand, a head-gasket went shortly after-wards Project bike has a couple more parts on it but my best friend and sponsor is pretty good builder/re-builder back in AZ with no confidence. I, on the other hand have enough for the both of us! (that's a joke). Now, don't take this the wrong way. I love God, like Him most of the time as well. Just sometimes, His blessings and plans come to light after unnecessary pain. (IMHO), I don't need to get knocked off the bike anymore to get the message.

But there it is. God's got something in mind (for both of us, I dare say) and He doesn't do e-mail! I have to work (ooh, I hate that word!) to suss out His purpose for me. And if pain is truly "the touchstone of growth", we're both in for a growth spurt, ain't we? Glad some things are turning good for you, Jazz. I know you're eager to get back to AZ. I hope the move, and what you find there, are everything you hope for. Blessings on ya!

| Recap Let's start with...GLAD TO SEE YA BACK AND POSTING HAMMER AND STICKER!!! We saved the house in AZ. Moving at the end of Feb. Got 2 tanks off ebay. 1 the right color w/a couple dents and the other straight with some pink in the lettering (it'll get painted before installation). Work is still ongoing with the charter here in MD. Got a couple more prospects. Still can't fly colors yet. Still clean, (T/G). Wife and I are closer from the ordeal of the last few months which is always a good thing. (She's cute) Looking forward to being able to talk with my sponsor without needing a phone, (he's in AZ). The next couple of things to address are the personal injury from the accident, managing funds for the move and traffic court for the guy that left turned and parked in front of me. ![]() Everybody have a safe and happy turn of the year!! ![]()
