He did file Assault charges against me but the cop that came by Friday didn't take me in when I explained to him that my ex. was due to give me child support and alimony on the 27th which he didn't do and my lawyer is going to have to staighten that out.

But I do have to go in Monday to get booked, pay $25.00 and post bond. He also had a social worker come to see if I was taking good care of our kids. But she was nice when I explained to her the charges I had filed against him.

Also on our income tax he got it to where he can claim the kids and not give me even half of the money so that lawyer is working on that too.

I'm going to a meeting tonight. I know you said I was strong not to drop the charges but right now I don't feel strong.

Though it does help to tell myself that what goes around comes around and I believe you when you say that he is abusing the new girl too.

For he only cares about himself. I'm going to go to meetings to keep my resolve plus I wanted to Thank you for the advice that you have given me too.

YAY!! Keep going to those meetings and keep listening to your heart about what is correct and right for you and your children. I'm glad that my advice was helpful and thrilled you're keeping your resolve and getting to meetings; your chldren are very lucky they have you as a Mom.

I looked up the meanings of those words and I have to say I agree with you my ex. fits the profile of someone who has those problems and actions.

I'm still working on the Let Go and Let God for some days it seems easier than it does on other days.

Like today for example, I filed the assault charges in Nov. but yet they let him file them in Jan. which I don't understand since so much time had passed but once I go up there and get it over with I will be ok. My lawyer is talking to them before I go so I really shouldn't worry about it.
