"Just For Today" "The Kingdom of Heaven in like a net that was let down into the lake and caught all kinds of fish." Matthew 13:47 It is though a great net has been cast out over the earth, and we were caught up in it by a power greater than ourselves. That Power is our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We did nothing to get into the net. As a matter of fact, most of us did everything possible to avoid the net of love, to stay where we were in the black depths of the sea. But then it happened: We became encircled by love and hauled up in the boat where the Lord began to sort us out, each to our own place. Some jump back into the sea because its not their time to be possessed by love. But we thank Jesus for the net, Thank you Jesus for having caught us up. JUST FOR TODAY Am I satisfied with my situation? Am I glad to have been caught up in the net of God’s love? God, grant that I may be caught up in the net of Divine Love, each and every day. JUST FOR TODAY My thoughts will be on my recovery, living an enjoying life without the use of drugs! JUST FOR TODAY I will have faith in Jesus Christ, who believes in me and wants to help me in my recovery. JUST FOR TODAY Through Christ, I will try to get a better perspective on my life |
