Wow! I didn't know that!

This website has a feature where you plug in your sobriety date and it calculates days, hours, minutes and seconds of sobriety. DD from time to time will ask how many days old am I? So I always plug her BD in there and we have a laugh.

This time, she read what the feature really is and asked me to plug in my sobriety date. I am not a sobriety date nazi or anything so I just use April 1, 2006, that's close enough for my purposes.

Any way, she was sitting on my lap as I was entering the info and I paused to think what year it was, and she said "it was 2006, I remember because I was in kinder". :wtf2

I said, how'd you remember that, was it that significant to you?

She said it was the most important day of her life. Who knew? I am truly CLUELESS sometimes. So here I sit all welled up and no where to go.

She wrote a note to hang up that is entitled "A day I will always remember" by Little Miss Coyote......

My Dad became sober April 1, 2006, my favorite day ever.

Love,
Little Miss Coyote

Damn. That's some good stuff.

Thanks and God bless us all, :praying
Coyote

You gave your child the greatest gift you could ever give her. What a wonderful testimony to sobriety.
