| A Post For Carol D!!!!!!!
I have know Carol now for over 9 years. I first met here at an old site called Another Empty Bottle. I have watched Carol's health decline, and watched her start to loose her sight and have to get a program for her computer. But I just want to say here, that Carol has been and is an INSPIRATION to many many folks here on line. Her working and then living the program of AA has given her a good life and she shares her joy with others. THANK YOU CAROL FOR ALL THAT YOU HAVE DONE AND DO here at SR and at other sites that you personally share at. You certainly have my kind of sobriety!!!!!! May the Great Spirit continue to bless you in all that you do!!!! Lots of love and bunches and bunches of hugs,

I second what Laurie said, Carol is a shining example of the type of person one can become in AA. Carol thank you for all you do here.

Carol is also a role model to me and every day, I am grateful for the gift of knowing her. Sometimes, I think about these cyber-connections and the wonder of it all, and how lucky I am that Carol has come into my life.

A few weeks ago I was blessed with the opportunity to meet Carol in person and attend an AA meeting in Dallas, GA. That's an experience that I'll never forget, and I can assure you that she's every bit the lovely lady in person that she is on SR! Thanks for brightening my day up on June 16th Carol, and for being a constant inspiration in recovery!

Although I don't post much on here I come by frequently to read and the thing I noticed the most is the way Carol will always have some words of encouragement for those who still suffer. So, thank you Carol for being there and also thank you to Laurie for having brought this up. God bless you two and all the struggling alcoholics who are part of this great online community! Gaston I.
