I am having urges to use again. I never went through NA. I am a cocaine addict. I am having these odd fantasies of using. Is this normal? How can I get through this. I went through a treatment program (90 day) and it didn't include NA or AA. I don't really know much about these programs. My husband is a bipolar Alcoholic and is very hard to deal with. I have 4 children and don't need to slip. What do you suggest?

I suggest calling NA right now and going to a meeting today or as soon as you can. Please take advantage of this group. Believe me it will help you get through this. And you CAN get through it.

Thank you for your encouragement and suggestions. I just do not understand what NA is. I guess i need to find out

Short for Narcotics Anonymous. It's a group of recovering addicts who share their experience, strength & hope about staying sober. You'll meet some terrific people there. They follow a program of 12 steps that have helped thousands of people to get better. Try it out soon, okay?
