Guy or anyone else, I need some info on Revia (naltrexone?) for narcotic abuse. Any and all info would be appreciated. Anyone with personal experiance with Revia would be great...THANX

Sorry -- can't tell you more than that you HAVE to consult a doctor about when and how to use revia. But you knew that already. I hope you'll hear on this site from people who have had experience taking it, but whatever you do -- do it with your doctor, okay?

Most important fact about this drug
Before taking ReVia for narcotic addiction, you must be drug-free for at least 7 to 10 days. You must also be free of any drug withdrawal symptoms. If you think you are still in withdrawal, be sure to tell your doctor, since taking ReVia while narcotics are still in your system could cause serious physical problems. Your doctor will perform tests to confirm your drug-free condition.

i used revia after treatment four years ago. wish i had stayed on it longer!

what were the positive results? Make you feel better......etc.)
what were the negative results? (side effects)
why did you stop taking it?
What was your overall experience with it?

I would really appreciate it if you could give some answers to some of my questions. I know others here have wondered about it also.
