recovery houses info????
I just recently finished a month and a half in a treatment facility and now I would like to continue in a recovery house. Does anyone know of any houses on the east coast?

Welcome to SoberRecovery.Oxford Houses are popular and very good.Let me do some searching and see if I can find some in Charleston.By the way cool town.I worked there for a while in 1989 after Hurricane Hugo.

Welcome Cary.
Here is what I found.South Carolina Oxford Houses and here is another one.Be advised before clicking the second link its a PDF file and takes a while to open National Oxfords Houses Directory I hope this helps.
The North Georgia Mountains would be a great place for someone to do a program.Beautiful country there.I used to have a friend in Rome,Ga.Even bought a 62 Impala SS from him.I wish I still had that car.Just one of the many things I lost in my drinking days.
Time, when I got out of rehab in Atlanta and came home to the N GA mtns to learn how to make the tools an automatic part of daily living, it saved my life. There are a couple of programs up here, and myself and a couple of drs, a shrink, a lawyer, and some local business people here are starting another one scheduled to open about July. It's a wonderful place to learn how to be and live sober/clean.
