Please help!!
Please help!!
I have been using trazdone daily for about 3 years and melatonin to sleep and it worked great! but now all of a sudden it stopped working for me.
My doctor has prescribed me zopiclone for a short period and will not renew it! it works great but a few nights I noticed I had to take 2 pills for it to work which is a lot!
I am so scared of these sleepless nights! I cant sleep unless I take a Xanax or a strong sedative
What can I do? any input please.

I don't have any experience but encourage you to read through the posts on this forum, there is information on insomnia, weighted blankets, etc. that you might find helpful.
Hi Zoomi
I hope you can talk with your doctor again about your concerns and you can get some long term advice.
These exercises have worked pretty well for me

You can look up "binaural beats" on youTube for access to tons of audio files that use various frequencies to affect different parts of the brain. There are a ton available that can help you sleep. I think it is delta waves that the brain produces while cycling between stages 3 and 4 of sleep (the deepest, most restful periods).
Of course you'll want to avoid caffeine and avoid strenuous physical activity for several hours before bed. Another thing that does help but sounds corny is warm milk. Heat some milk, vanilla extract, nutmeg and some sugar/stevia and sip it about an hour before bed. Try not to have it just before bed because it may make you have to get up and wiz, in which case you may have trouble falling back under.
If it continues, you might seek hypnosis?
