singing, "Oh, what a beautiful morning, oh what a beautiful day. I've got a beautiful feeling, everything's going my way," about 15 minutes after waking up today. Only 7 days of sobriety and this is something monumental for me. This hasn't happened in years. I just let the dogs out for a run, smelled the sweet air, felt the just-right temperature and looked over the flowers, green grass, trees and fields near my home and thought--"Oh what a beautiful, etc., etc." I always see (correction) I USED to see the glass half empty. Those days are in the past. THAT's part of the plan.
