So grateful for my first sober Friday night in ........... too long.

Grateful to recognise that I do have some control and power over my choices.

Feeling grateful to be here.

• Grateful for Opivotal commitment to taking care of giving us a place to post our gratitude.

• Grateful for some of the modern conveniences that make life easier - like a vegetable steamer, workable can opener and coffee percolator.
• Grateful to watch the clouds roll in very quickly - rather mesmerizing.
• Grateful it didn't bother me when friends came over with beer - they offered me one. I said no, I don't drink. He said SORRY - I said, don't be sorry, I like it when I don't drink. :-)
• Grateful to spend three hours on the deck last night with them catching up.
• Grateful cravings and desire pass the more a person loves living in recovery.
• Grateful to look forward to today and all that it offers.
• Grateful to know the day will be okay because I am sober and know no desire to drift from my recovery plan.
• Grateful for all of you.
