Here is a good poem for me today I just need to pay attention
I've shut the door on Yesterday,
It's sorrows and mistakes.
I've locked within its gloomy walls
Past failures and heartaches.
And now I throw the key away,
To seek another room,
And furnish it with hope and smiles
And every springtime bloom.
No thought shall enter this Abode
That has a hint of pain;
And envy, malice and distrust
Shall never entrance gain.
I've shut the door on Yesterday
And thrown the key away -
Tomorrow holds no fear for me
Since I have found Today.

Good morning all! It's getting real steamy here in the Midwest. "Air you can wear" as one of the weathercasters back home describes it.

So good to see we're all hanging in there (here).
As you may imagine, I know doodly about Pokemon. Last I knew they were these cards my nieces and nephews obsessed over.
But today, if I have time, I'm off in search of Grasshopper Sparrows and Blue Grosbeak. Missed both so far this year and we have neither back home.
So I guess I can out-nerd the lot of you if need be.
Bobbie, next time you take out some punk on the playing field get it on video and post! You're a hoot.

Mornin' gang. You've all been pretty lively since midnight?
Lots of activity and a little stress here. We are putting our house on the market. Now that the kids are out, it's too big for the two of us requires too much maintenance - let alone the utility costs and taxes.
Bobbie, take it easy on those kids - or not
. Hope the hit gave you some satisfaction.

Good morning all!! I slept last night!! For six whole hours without waking up!! I did take half a sleeping pill but it's still a win in my books!! The only issue with the pills is that I do wake up feeling a little groggy - which translates into me laying in bed longer in the morning and no run....but tomorrow is a day off so I will try again!!
Kayak - have fun in California - even if it's for work! And that is a lovely poem - you certainly have some talent

Pelagic, you win. You've out-nerded the nerds. My husband's theory is we're going to be taken over by robots while we're looking at our phones. Enjoy this heat! Showers are your best friend.
MITA, moving sucks. Are you planning on staying in the same area. We may have a cross country move soon. Should find out in the next month. Yes, I got satisfaction from the hit. The brat had been throwing elbows all night. I got the opportunity to show her, "not on my field" and I took it. Lol My daughters we like, "moooom, you can't do that." I just laughed.
