Forever Grateful! My gratitude journal...
I having spent as much time as usual being grateful. My focus has been on how I can get through PAWS as quickly and painless as possible. For a time there, I just couldn't maintain a clear, sane thought. I still have some struggles on some days, but my thoughts are becoming clearer so now I need to share gratitude. My HP, which I call God, rocks to infinity and beyond!
I am grateful that I was never stopped or pulled over for a DUI! Lord knows I have been behind the wheel intoxicated on many occasions with children in the car.
I am grateful for waking up sober the past 96 days.
I am grateful that when my blood pressure was 225/136, I did not have a stroke or heart attack. Very grateful that pressure is now a consistent 120/75.
I am grateful for AA. The 12 steps can be used in almost every situation whether addiction is the issue or not.
I am grateful for a job with good insurance benefits that allowed me to go to inpatient treatment and still have a job when I returned.
That's it for now...

I am in my head right now so I will extend some gratitude...
I am grateful that my mother gave her life to God 20+ years before her passing.
I am grateful that I have amazing children who think I am the best mom ever.
I am grateful for my husband who is doing his very best to support me how ever he can right now.
I am grateful that doctor did not find any long term physical damage caused by my drinking.
I am grateful for SR! I get to express my thoughts and feelings.
I'll be back!

Tonight I am grateful for my HP reminding me that things are just as they should be in my world even though I am uncomfortable.
I am grateful to hear my hubby snore. It reminds me he is here beside me.
I am grateful for National Geographic TV because I love this kind of stuff. I actually watched a whole show!
I am grateful our sons stopped by to visit today. They told me how good I look even though I have lost over 50 lbs in about 6 months.
I am grateful to be sober one more day!
