The forest & the trees...

I am suffering from some very low feelings and lack of motivation so I suppose, as this was supposed to be a part of my recovery plan and I don't feel like cracking that binder open today, I might as well start here.

My Gratitude list...

I am grateful for my kids, especially my little girl who makes each day worth getting out of bed and facing.

Having a month sober under my belt after years of thinking I'd never be able to quit.

My best friends who have been incredibly helpful and supportive.

My super cozy comfy bed and cuddling up with my little girl.

SR forums, my classmates and all the awesome resources on here.

My 'team' of pros that have been helping me out in all my struggles.

Still having a farm to go to.

Having my phone to keep in touch with life, my kids, my family and friends keeps me sane.

My cool, silvery hair. Au naturel.

Being in shape and looking better since being sober.

Having a roof over my head.

A vehicle that drives.

That's all I got for now.

Im always grateful to know that
whatever is weighing heavy on
my mind during the day that it
will eventually pass.

Tomorrow always brings a new day.

And like with anything over the
years in recovery, I always apply
this helpful phrase.....

This Too Shall Pass

Thanks guys

Today was a better day. I'm grateful for that.

At my farm with my little girl so she can run around and play and be a kid.

Big fluffy white snow covering the ground. Feels cozy and cheerful.

Ate some blue raspberry jello with the little one

Had some good sleep last night. I slept like a rock for about an hour and a half this morning, was so nice.

Put in some time exercising and I'm so grateful to be in shape and that my body is recovering from all the abuse I've put it through.

Grateful for ginger ale! Haha

Watched some videos and looked at funny websites that gave me some great giggles.

☺ I'm so glad I found SR and am part of such an amazing, supportive class. The whole community here has been such an inspiration and has been my only motivation to get through some days. So grateful to you all.
