Question Kids movie: Inside Out. Made me think of addiction

Has anyone else watched this movie (Inside Out) and then not be able to help relating the psychology of it all with addiction? The inner battle of emotions, the child-like way we can't see multiple emotions as interconnected until we finally start to grow up. Not expecting too many responses because these thoughts completely came from out of the blue. I realized I had the emotional maturity of a child (probably still do at times), but it really made me contemplate the addict brain.

YES!!!! I saw it shortly after it was available on DVD. I watched it with my 11 year old niece.

I watched it again alone... it is quite the adventure into one's mind and how outside events impact our thinking, thoughts, and behaviors.

I do hope adults don't turn it down because it is marketed to kids with its animation, etc.

Such a well done movie!

For you (wow Skeletor sounds like an AV):

He-Man: I have the power!
Skeletor: YOU! You will no longer stand between me and my destiny!
He-Man: But I will! I told you that it's always between us!
Skeletor: I ache to smash you out of existence! To drive your cursed face from my memories forever!
He-Man: Enough talk!
Skeletor: YES! Let this be our final battle!

I really suggest that people watch it. I too watched it with kids, but it is worth a watch no matter what... it's really funny. Those movies all have adult humor in them. Anyone who enjoys the mind and how it works or studied any psychology will really get a kick out of it.

I just watched it with my kids and I liked it! Interesting how all the emotions are running around in her brain trying to solve the crisis she's going through. All the synapses in her brain being rewired or failing. Good movie.

I laughed whenever fear and anger took over... especially after she lost joy and sadness. It just seemed very familiar
