Hello everybody.

Figured I would stop in and read through the post.
I'm pretty tired, it's been kind of a hectic day at work.
Nothing new to report from here. Just plugging through the week waiting for the weekend.

Hi everyone , well what a lovely read this was this morning.

Crois you always give out such good advice , you truly have a gift. Leshar , you wouldn't have been able to function as an MD as we all know how drinking distorts our thinking ! Plus if you are hung over , would you really be able to do justice to your patients . I agree with you.

I'm sorry you don't get the words you need to hear from your brother and your family , but there are plenty of good ones to go around our July class & some.

You are a VERY much loved and integral part of this class. I have always enjoyed your posts and I love the person you are

Tiki is luck to have a Mum like you :-) & we are all blessed to have a friend like you .

I've been at Angies for a few days and I'm feeling good. I have to go to work tomorrow , so I came home to a lovely surprise from Gilmer. It's made my day .

Thanks so much sweetheart I just loved the card & the letter. It meant the word to me and made me tear up.
The card was so apt :-)
I love this this class's I lov all of you

I'm going back to Angies Sun night or Mon morn.

She's a nomad , everything gets done outside , eating working , eating , eating ...lol

we usually hav a bonfire but we wpuld get carted off to jail in this weather. Gonna be another stinker of a weekend here in Adelaide ....ugh I'm so over the hot weather.

Shaun and I at going to th movies , he wants to see the new Star Wars movie , yuk ! Guess ill just have to suck it up . They were never my thing .

I'll put up some pics of Angies sheep later, my favourite one is Cheryl she's quite defiant. But bullet ( he looks like h has a bullet hole in his side ) with the markings is adorable . But he has gotten so big he has to stay outside now & he's NOT. Happy about it lol .

No call from the rehab , zilch ! They told m it will be.a long wait due to Xmas new year etc so I'm doing the best I can to b busy .

Much love to you all my lovelies

Gilmer , thank you xxxxx

Love you all

Snoozy, thank you. I'm glad you're doing well. You sound good.
I went to the gym this morning and met a friend for a coffee afterwards, that was nice. I was a bit weepy telling her about my family, but she got me laughing, she's a good friend.
Hope all are doing ok.

Just lost a long post :-( dammit !

Long story short , I've called in sick for work to go back to Angies and do this detox properly. I can't risk driving past the bottleshop after work. Shaun has the car and I'm miles away in the country from any shops. I've done the right thing , cos I'm not really lying. I am sick and I'm on my way to getting better. Feeling more in control and a lot lot happier.

Love you all . Ps you have a wonderful friend Leshar.
Where would we be without people who love us .

Up shittt creek without a paddle , that's where .

I love you all dearly

Will update tomorrow xx

I'm really glad you have a good friend in a safe location Snooz.

Please tho - do give some thought as to what your recovery plan is going to look like after detox.

It makes me sad to read that you can't trust yourself to drive past a bottlo.

You're going to need a lot of help support and guidance, Wendy.

We have to reengage with the big ugly world at some point and learn to walk to our different drum beat in it..

Now must be a good time to work out what form that long term support and guidance might take.

take care ok?

Thank you Dee. I know I'm going to need more support than ever this time .
I'm totally commited .
AA doesn't work for me.

I need to not have so much time on my hands for a start.

It is sad that I can't drive past a bottlo. Very sad. I'm miles away from anywhere here on the farm.
I had not one craving today
We sat around the table after dinner & read our poetry out . It's hard for me to access mine from the phone as they have no wifi .

This is it my friends , something has finally clicked and I'm on my way back .

I just know it.
I realised tonight how long it is since I've actually laughed and it felt great.

I desperately want my sobriety back , stay tuned for more good news.

Feeling happy , I will do this xxxx
True friends are everything

Love you all x

Still early morning
Just wanted to check in and say Hi.

SnoozyQ, it good to recognize you can't drive by the bottle shop. Its a trigger to many of us. At first it was very challenging. For my some reason i can still spot every liquor store. Eyes glued to the fluorescent lighting. I hope detox goes well. Hugs! Have a great day/night!

Good morning everyone. ♥

Hope you get your internet sorted wolfie.

Snoozy love ~ you have all of our support.

As I mentioned a while back, my first sponsor always used to say "it takes what it takes". And when that something 'clicks' for us, we need to run with it, and give it everything we've got. Grab onto sobriety with both hands, and embrace life.

Sending huge hugs to all of you.
